Do you know Christ? He knows you. The Bible says that God's thoughts toward us are greater than the grains of sand on the seashore.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. (Psalm 139: 17-18)
And His thoughts are thoughts of good and not of evil, to give us a future and a hope.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD,thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jerremiah 29:11)
If He thinks such wonderful things of us, shouldn't we take the time to get to know Him and His wonderful ways. You may ask what is so wonderful about His ways. His greatest accomplishment was coming to earth as a man to save the world from our sins. The very well-known verse in John captures best what Jesus did:
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
The Word of God tells us that Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life. In today's world, this is a radical statement, but this is what the Bible tells us. If you don't believe that Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life, I encourage you to get to know Him. Read about Him and His many great works as both God and Man. Read about His goodness and mercy toward man and the ultimate sacrifice He made on the cross, a sinless man dying for the sins of the world. The Son of God dying as the perfect sacrifice for Father God. The Gospels of the Bible (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are a great place to start, and one of my favorite books of the Bible is Romans, which shares the grace of God. Also, see the Resources page on this site.
If you do know Jesus Christ as your God and Savior, praise Him for His greatness and His wonderful ways during the Christmas season. He is so good.
I hope these 25 Days with Our Savior bless you and draw you closer to Him.
